What could be better than a Sunset Trail Ride at Lake Louisa State Park? A sunset trail ride with champagne and charcuterie! Enjoy beautiful sunsets and evening wildlife during the magical golden hours. This ride is family-friendly, and safely led by two experienced and friendly wranglers. No previous riding experience is required.
Rides will follow a special route, and arrive back to the barn roughly 30 minutes before sunset. While the wranglers put the horses to bed, guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne (must be 21 or older with valid ID) or sparkling cider, charcuterie board, and roasting s'mores over a campfire.
Required arrival times are 30 minutes BEFORE the start of the ride. Start times are strictly enforced to ensure the ride is safely back at the barn before sundown.

State park admission of $5 per vehicle is not included with the price of the tour.

Our meeting point is inside Lake Louisa State Park. After entering the park, you will follow the main road for 3 miles. You will see a sign on that says "Guided Horseback Trail Rides". Park in the designated area just past the sign, and walk through the red gate. Your guide will meet you there.

Please present this voucher to your Lead Guide upon arrival at the Horseback Riding Facility. (This is not the Ranger Station at the front entry, you will present the voucher when you arrive where the horses are.)
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
All participants must be at least 8 years old, have a BMI score of 31 or lower, may not be pregnant, and meet our other essential eligibility criteria. You can find the additional criteria here: https://lakelouisastatepark.com/eligibility-criteria
All participants must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ride start time in order to complete safety steps. Late arriving participants will not allowed to ride, and no refunds will be issued. Please complete your waiver ahead of time through the link emailed to you.
